Xirasol (which means Sunflower) was formed in 2016 with specific intent to design a new Solar Tracking System for large solar farms that would harness the maximum power from solar panels.

Xirasol is a Research and Development (RandD) Company that was created after Glenn Melton was head contractor for the Williamsdale Solar Farm near Canberra, and determined that their were easier ways to manufacture, install and maintain Solar Tracking Systems then what was on the market.

Glenn Melton felt that it was not only possible to built a competitive Dual Axis Solar Tracking system with a land profile the same or better than Single Axis Solar Tracking it was also possible to achieve a higher ROI by greatly improving the Solar Profile and output from the solar farm.

Xirasol's Solar Tracking System did not only complete this it is also Quick to Manufacture, Quick to Install, and competitive for Price.

 

Xirasol's aim was to use an equivalent amount of steel and other costs to single axis tracking systems per watt but achieve a much marked higher % output. Xirasol has achieved these goals.

Xirasol not only completed the development of A new Dual Axis Solar Tracking System they also:

• Installed over 6MW for testing across some of Australia's harshest environment.
