Xirasol's Patents extend into its software and the way the tracking system moves.
Xirasol's Dual Axis Solar Tracking Control Cabinet utilises the following:

3D Sensor that gives the position of the Solar Array. This is then compared with an algorithm that depicts the movement of the Xirasol's Dual Axis Tracking System. The software also allows for back tracking. The Solar Tracking System moves within an envelope that protects the tracking system from crashes and damage.

SEW and Abb Motor Drives run in a Modbus Configuration.

Bechoff PLC connected via 4G Modem where software and configurations can be uploaded remotely.
The Control Cabinet is setup and programmed in the Factory and installed quickly onsite. The following installation is required:
