Posts and Mainbeams

The site is first pegged out using a Robotic Total Station or maybe Piled directly with a GPS Piling Rig such as the Vemeer PD10.

​

Posts and Post top Bearings are then installed. This is followed by Centre structures and Mainbeams.

 

The Post is designed to work with any type of soil. As soil types can very from Shale and Clay to Sand - Xirasol found it prudent to design a post that could be piled to a depth that structurally worked in any type of soil type.

​

The post is a 150UB14 Galvanised with a Post top Bearing Flange installed on top ready for the mainbeam to be attached.

The distance between posts is 4.5m except for the centre 2 posts which are designed to hold the mainnbeam structure.
